Boy Scout Troop 17

 Welcome to Troop 17 of Southington, Connecticut's Website

           Troop 17 was chartered in 1960, and we welcome boys who are 11 years old about to enter 6th grade  up to 18 years old.  You don't need to have been a Cub Scout to become a Boy Scout.

          Troop 17 meets weekly on Tuesday evenings at the First Baptist Church of Southington from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM, from September till June when there is school.  We have an active Troop with camping throughout the year, participation in the Apple Harvest and the annual food drive.

      Scouts Start on Tuesday September 10th 2024!

     The Holiday Camp Out is December 6-8th 2024

             This year's food drive is bag drop off on Saturday November 4th 2023 and food pickup and boxing on Saturday November 11th.  This year we collected over 7 tons for the Southington Bread for Life and The Southington Department of Social Services.
